How to find the most viewed clip of a streamer or game

Guide · October 23, 2026

What's your favorite streamer's most viewed clip? And their most viewed clip of 2023? Twitch answers the first question; the second one needs a search by date. Here are both ways.

On Twitch

  1. Go to the streamer's page and open their clips section.
  2. Pick the longest period, all time.
  3. The first clip on the list is the most viewed clip in the channel's history.

Games work the same way: open the category on Twitch and go to its clips. The usual limit applies: there are only four periods (24 hours, 7 days, 30 days and all time), so you can't see the most viewed clip of a specific year or month.

On AllTimeClips

The most viewed clips pages show, for the most popular streamers and games, the 12 most viewed clips of this week, the last month and all time. For example: Minecraft, VALORANT or Ibai.

For any other channel, or for a specific period, use the search tool: pick the channel or category and the period, and results come sorted from most to least viewed.

The most viewed clip of each year

A fun way to look back at a channel's history is to find its most viewed clip of each year. Pick the channel, choose a year in the picker and note the first clip; then move on to the next year. On channels with many years of history, recent viral clips can hide the classics from the early days, so the all-time ranking doesn't tell the whole story.

The same works for a game: the most viewed Minecraft clip of each year shows how what people stream has changed.

How to read the ranking

Frequently asked questions

Why can Twitch's ranking and AllTimeClips' ranking differ a little?

Views change all the time. The most viewed clips pages are updated several times a day, so a clip that's growing fast can take a few hours to move up.

Can I see the most viewed clip of a single day?

Yes: in the search tool, pick a one-day range. More details in how to find old clips by date.

Why does a clip have more views than the stream it came from?

Because a clip gets shared on its own: on social media, in group chats or on other sites. A moment a few hundred people saw live can reach millions as a clip.
